Taylor's 1st Homecoming

Where does the time go? It seems like yesterday we were calling her "Tater-Bug" and she was this cute, pudgy little baby. Gone is the baby and gone are the days of us calling her "Tater-Bug" Although there will be many other dances, this one we will always remember since it was her first.

1st day of School

It's hard to believe that the first day of school is upon us. I'm thankful we had a nice warm summer to enjoy. Some days were a little too warm but all in all it was a great summer. The kids were all ready to head back to school.

Taylor was excited to start seminary and High School.

Brett was excited to move up a step from the bottom of the totem pole in Middle School.

And Adam was excited to start the 1st grade.

It truly amazes me how fast they grow and how much they change.

17 years!!!!

It seems like just yesterday that I was planning my wedding and here we are Sept 5, 2009 celebrating 17 years of marriage. You know you are confident and comfortable in your marriage when you decide to take your 3 kids along with you for the day. We decided to spend the day over in Seattle. We started at a sports store looking for new football shoulder pads for Brett, then we made our way over to the Pacific Science Center. The kids had a great time. The main exhibit was "Animal Grossology" Some of the exhibits were pretty gross, but also very entertaining!

They have a water section outside that I think the kids enjoyed more than the exhibits outside.

The Science Center is always very entertaining. Whether you're playing with the water exhibits, sea life, or sitting at a table that is larger than any human you're always guaranteed to have a great time.

I wonder what we'll do when we reach 18 years?!

Adam's 1st Mariner's Game

Scott called me late one afternoon in July and said that he had been given 2 Mariner's tickets and did I want to go. My first response was, "YES". He knows I love going to Mariner's games in the summer time. I love everything about it. The smells, the field, the food, the game! The more we talked we decided it would be fun for Scott to take Adam. He's never been to Safeco and has been talking about going all summer. He left work and went to the house to pick Adam up. When he told him what they were doing Adam was like a kid on Christmas morning. He couldn't have been more excited.

They had a great time watching the game and just being together. I know this is a memory that Adam will have for a long time.

The Diamond Club!!!!

Every year Scott gets Mariner's tickets in the Diamond Club section. It's hard to believe that people often go to the game and get to sit in this section every time!!! For the past 3 years Scott has gotten an extra ticket and has taken me. This year he had 2 extra tickets. The boys were at friends and were spending the night so we took Taylor with us. She was in awe of the buffet that we ate at before the game, the view from our seats and the cute ball boy that tossed her the first foul ball. It was a great night!!!
